Fes, Morocco has two types of pottery - white clay and gray clay. White clay is cooked in gas ovens while gray clay is cooked in traditional kilns. Both types are fired twice, first to get the biscuit and then after painting and enamelling. These 4 dinner plates from Fez Blue Art are handmade, hand painted, and fired in traditional kilns using gray clay. Each plate has a different pattern and is lead-free and dishwasher safe. Size: 27cm.
